Pavarotti Performs with MONARC MLA3
Entech C.A. Provides Production for Athens Date

MLA3 Rig Flown Left & Right
Luciano Pavarotti, performingin concert, was featured at the Hellenic Festival 2004 in Athens, Greece. This concert took place in the famous Herod Atticus Theater at the foot of the Acropolis.

Renknowned around the world for it's long history and classic Greek architecture, the theater is a delightful setting, with the floodlighted Acropolis looming behind the audience and the Roman arches below making a stunning backdrop for the performers. The Acropolis hill is considered a gem for Athens and all of Greece, with the Parthenon temple still standing to remind us the grandeur of ancient Greece, the Acropolis is truly a wonder of the world.

Sound reinforcement was provided by Entech C.A. of Athens, and featured MONARC MLA3s and McCauley CSM88 subwoofers for mains.

For over 40 years this world-class opera singer has assumed major roles in 26 different operas, over 300 concerts and hundreds of recitals, totalling over 1000 performances (and still counting) in more than 60 countries throughout the world. Born in Moderna in 1935, Pavarotti's destiny seemed certain from the very beginning when he let out a shrill cry in hospital and nearby doctors claimed he would make a powerful singer. Teetering on the edge of either a career in singing or gym-instructing, he decided to exercise his lungs as a tenor rather than on the treadmill.
